Mike, old friend, it was a great run these past 6 or 7 decades. I wish we could have broken bread together and hoisted a Harp's or Guiness one more time. After reading your obit I realize that you really did listen to Sister Imelda when she told us to straighten up and be a useful member of society. Sister Amata didn't understand when she raided the Burdick Hotel pool hall that lunchtime that we were networking. Our mobile poker games, depending on whose parents were out almost ended when your parents came home unexpectedly. We scattered! Do you think they smelled the beer and cigarettes or saw our cars in the driveway? Bonfires, sports, Shamrock dances, cruising Schwarz's Drive-In, Irish tans at Oval Beach (sunburn to some) were all part of our rush to adulthood. Thanks for sharing your mom's mincemeat pies and picking me up in your dad's limo that time in Allegan County...Harry

Hey Mike:. Sorry to see you left us. I know the last few years have been rough. Thank you for our annual visits the last 15 years with Harry and Elvia.
Good times to reminisce and catch up, especially the time you used your siren to come to the Jordan House Party. Or the time you, Harry and I took an underage drinking trip to Lake Geneva, WI, and police found your fake ID in your wallet.
How many times did we have pizza and beer at Bimbo's?
Many fond memories. We'll miss you. See you soon enough.
