He was born on July 5th, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years, retiring as an E-7 Operations Specialist Chief. He was an amazing father, man, friend, sailor, and husband. He spoke often of what integrity meant to him, and he lived up to that definition. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sons Jason and Joel, as well as his grandchildren: Micah, Isaac, Owen, Kaden, Kelsey, and John. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne Lynn, and his second wife, Pamela Lynn; his daughter, Nicole Benko; his parents, James and Frances Lynn; and his brothers, Gerald, James, and Joseph.
A celebration of life will be held at St Jerome's Catholic Church on June 27th at 11 am. The viewing will take place at The Chapel of the Chimes, the evening before June 26th at 5 pm.
