Nelson, Milan E. (Whitey) went home to the Lord on June 11, 2018 at the age of 85. Whitey was preceded in death by his son Bradley and his parents. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Arleen, children Luanna (David), Lori and Brian, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Whitey was born May 12, 1933 on a farm in Irwin, Iowa and was always a farm boy at heart. He was a kind, loving man and devoted his life to his family. Service will be at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 13001 N 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ, on Friday, June 29th at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his name to Hospice of the Valley.
