Moira Hansen

Moira V Hansen, age 89, of Glendale, passed away January 29, 2013. Mrs. Hansen demonstrated faithfullness in her life, in her relationship with God and her family as well as being true to her word. Although she was a very humble person, she and her husband are remembered by family as "salt of the earth" and people that never spoke a word of malice. She is also remembered as a delight to speak with, an intelligent and happy soul, who approached life with a child like attitude. She recognized the worth of others and helped anyone she could. Her grandchildren meant the world to her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hansen and a brother, Earl Nugent, Survivors include her daughter Mary A. (Frank) Sanders, 3 grandchildren, Frank (Julie), Kevin (Tanya), and Jennifer Sanders and 3 great grandchildren, Kelsey, Tatum and Joey Sanders; a nephew Edmond Nugent and a beloved cousin, Marion Nugent. There will be a Visitation Tuesday, at 10:00am and Rosary at 10:30am, with Funeral Mass immediately following at 11;00am all at St. Jeromes Catholic Church 10815 N. 35th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85029. Interment to follow at 1:30 pm in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
