Myrna C. Wood, age 77, born on October 6, 1937 in Illiopolis, Illinois. On January 13th 2015, Myrna has entered into heaven to be reunited with her beloved husband Victor Wood, Father and Mother Lawrence and Veta Tennyson. She was a strong, witty, fantastic, loving, caring, passionate and nurturing woman. She had a passion for arts and crafts. She and her beloved husband Victor spent 30 years at their favorite summer vacation home at Mormon Lake, Arizona. This was a place of happiness, friendship, family time and memories that will last a life time. Summer was a special time of year for her as she would spend time making memories with her grandchildren at her home in Mormon Lake. She had a contagious smile and fun personality. She was a strong willed person that would not let anything keep her down. She shared the same passion and love of dirt track racing as her Children and Grand Children.
Myrna was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sister’s Marleen Andrew, Marilyn Reeter and Brother Larry “Tuffy” Tennyson, Her 4 children, Duane(Lola) Rustad, Greg(Katherine) Rustad, Gary(Jerry) Rustad and Lisa(Donald) Wood and 2 step children, Ronald(Laurie) Wood and Vicki(Allen) Haug. Myrna left behind 15 grandkids and 24 great-grandkids and 10 nieces and nephews who she loved greatly. Myrna will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Chimes located at 7924 N 59th Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301.
