Nestor Lopez

Nestor Lopez, 87, of Phoenix, Arizona was called to Heaven on June 14, 2024, surrounded by those he loved. He was born in Los Fresnos, Texas on February 26, 1937, to the late Francisco Lopez and Guadalupe Reyes.

He is survived by his wife Lilly Lopez, his daughters Joanne Carrillo, Rosie Finch, Sandra Lopez, and Lisa (Manuel) Rios, his sons Nestor (Sandra) Lopez Jr, Thomas (Lori) Lopez, and Arthur (Abigail) Lopez, as well as his brother Jesus Lopez. Nestor leaves 29 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren, and several extended family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Along with his parents, Nestor is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Emma Jean Rivas, and his siblings Amelia Dominguez, Higinia Tellez, and Gertrudes Gomez.

A viewing will take place at West Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday morning, June 28, 2024, beginning at 8:00 am. Immediately after, a funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, that will begin at 10:00 am, with a formal procession to Resthaven Park Cemetery to follow at 11:00 am, where Nestor will be laid to rest.
