Nguyet Thi Thu Tran, age 63 of Phoenix, passed away February 14, 2013. She was born in Saigon, Vietnam, to Paul Hue Tran and Dinh Truong. Her father precedes her in death. Nguyet is much beloved by her community and family. She is remembered for being a great cook and a very patient person. Her family remembers that she always avoided being a burden to anyone and was a very gentle and easy going person. She is survived by her mother, Dinh Truong, sisters Ly Tran, wife to Aaron Nguyen and Van Tran Nguyen, wife to Xuan Nguyen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; Kieu, Jenny, Hai, Jordon, Jonathan, Jacqueline, Julia, Janet and Jaron, as well as great nieces and nephews, John, Niki, and Livi. Her life will be celebrated with a wake, Friday, February 22, 2013, from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave. Glendale, AZ 85301 and a Funeral Mass, Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00am, at Vietnamese Martyrs Parish, 2915 W. Northern Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85051. Burial will follow at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St. Phoenix, AZ 85008.
