From a young age, Nick’s restless longing for excitement meant he never stayed in one place for very long. His interest in various cultures and their ways of living fueled his lifelong endeavor to travel by whatever mode of transportation was available. As a nomadic and spontaneous individual, Nick lived a life full of adventure and curiosity. He often wandered from place to place leaving behind his infectious laugh and generosity for others. Through his travels, he fostered a family and support system that spanned from Arizona, Japan, California, Oklahoma, Washington, Missouri, Kansas, Florida, and everywhere in between.
Whether he showed up on your doorstep after cycling thousands of miles or after driving for several long hours, he greeted you with his warm smile and helping hands. May those he leaves behind be, always and forever, touched by his free spirit and generous personality.
Nick is remembered and cherished by his parents, Julio & Esther Muñoz Jr., two brothers Julio (April) Muñoz III & Christopher Muñoz, sister Lea (Michael) Hake, niece Arya Muñoz, nephew Julio Link Muñoz IV, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. May our Nicco always remember how much he is loved.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service honoring his life on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 10 AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
