Noah “No No Noal” Scott Pohlman, 16, of Peoria, Arizona entered into heaven on June 24th, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. Noah was born in Glendale, Arizona at Banner Thunderbird Hospital to Krista C. Pohlman on August 28, 2004, the second child.
Noah grew up in Peoria having attended Candeo Charter school (k-4), Sunset Heights Elementary in Peoria (5-8). He was attending Liberty High School, and would have graduated in 2022. Noah was a shy guy and relied on his sister, Carrie and close friends as they were growing up. He was a prankster and loved to tease his mom and hide her cell phone and other items from her. HE referred to her with such names as “shorty Mc Shorty” and Sped (special ed). He had a great since of humor and loved to laugh. He was a perfectionist in everything he did.
Noah had a lot of things he truly loved and that seemed to just be a piece of his heart. He loved his family and his car and his computer gaming setup. He also loved video gaming and getting out to join his friends to drive their cars. They all enjoyed going to car shows whenever they could find them, Mondays and Tuesdays were prime time for this activity.
The boys started their own car club called “AZ 4 Bangers”, which he and his friends proudly displayed on their cars. These young guys seemed to be following in their fathers and uncles footsteps, but with their own twist on things. He loved stickers with funny and sometime inappropriate sayings on them. These were displayed on his car. He played his music real loud so he could feel the base. He had plans as to what his car would finally look like.
Noah enjoyed playing video and computer games. We counted over 110 games on his computer and phone. Noah and mom played toon town together, he would always have more laff points then she. Of course he made sure she knew this. Noah’s biggest passion was gamming, whether on his phone or computer.
He was a movie buff, his favorites were the following franchises; Toy Story, Cars, Planes, and anything Disney or Pixar. His mom, Krista even whet as far as to buy him all sorts of toys from these movies. She sometimes would go overboard on her toy spending, it would bug him, but she had in mind for him to share them with his future children. They would recite lines from the movies with each other.
Noah collected ball caps that had special meaning to him. He also liked to wear and collect Vans tennis shoes. He was like many teens, in that, he didn’t like to clean his room. He would collect and throw his dishes and trash on his bedroom floor expecting his mom to pick it up. He was impatient so he preferred quick foods, as to not waste time, especially when he was gaming. He decorated his room in red and black, all of his computers, gaming chair and accessories had to match the color scheme. HE was very anxious from the age of 14 to be able to get his first job. He didn’t like to always as for help from his mom and grandparents. He wanted his own money and he had a very strong work ethic, not a lazy worker. Carrie, his older sister, asked her boss at Nordstrom at Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, if there were any openings at the store. She hired Noah with only a reference from Carrie and without an official job application or interview. He was excited to start his new job on June 11th 2021, he worked in the shoe fulfillment department (Amazon type work) while Carrie worked in the clothes fulfillment. They often shared rides to work and Noah always drove. He was overjoyed to received his first paycheck on June 25th,2021, he made $541.00 before taxes and $495.00 take home pay. He and mom discussed how much should be spent and saved. He knew earning his own money would enable him to fulfill his dreams with his car.
Noah was really smart and could solve any problem he encountered. He was a great friend and loved his friends and family very much. He would go out of his way to help them, even if it meant spending his time and money to help them out. He will be remembered for this and so much more. We all will love and miss him everyday of our lives, he left us way too soon.
Noah leaves behind his mother, Krista Pohlman sister, Carrie Pohlman; Grandma Lynnette Pohlman; and aunt Jennifer Kleinert and uncle Michael Pohlman and their children Lily (10) and Abbie (7). He also leaves behind many friends who he would have shared a great future with.
Noah will be meeting his grandpa Gerald J. Pohlman (Jerry) in heaven, “Papa” Jerry was called home on March 1st, 2020 after a 2 year illness.
Noah and “Papa” Jerry will start many new adventures together.
“We love you”
