She was born on March 24, 1943 in Moosup, Connecticut to the late William and Rita Tessier. She faithfully attended Catholic school throughout her academic career and even paying for her own tuition. Which was a testament to her hard-working ethic that continued throughout her life.
Norma was preceded in death by her devoted husband Howard L. Joyce, to whom she was married for 49 years.
She is survived by four children Howard (Kelly) Joyce Jr., Cynthia (Chris) Brown, Billy (Usebia) Joyce & Peggy (Milan) Paulic, her baby sister Elaine Teixeira, 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, five nephews and two nieces.
In addition to her parents and husband Norma was preceded in death by her infant daughter Margaret Anne and son Paul J. Joyce Sr.
Norma’s careers were a homemaker, co-business owner, customer service manager and her most cherished role officially retired! Her retirement years were made even more enjoyable as she lived with and was cared for by her daughter Cynthia and son-in-law Chris.
She loved watching her favorite TV shows Judge Judy and the Family Feud. Norma always had a romance novel at her side and a cup of coffee.
