

She was educated in the city of Lum Lam Chi, Thailand. She left school at a young age to provide for her younger siblings after the early death of both her parents. Nuanchan met the love of her life – Steve Carver while he was working overseas. They married on May 1, 1978, and moved to Dillsboro, Indiana. They later relocated to the Phoenix, AZ area where they remained until her death. She was the mother of Nicholas Brian and Daniel Vaughn Carver and stepmother to Jessica Lee Tabor.
She was grandmother to Jae Rayeann, Cristian Nicholas and Makayla Renae Carver, step grandmother to Gage Anthony and Antwan Neal, and great step grandmother to Avery Paige Potts and Veronica Kai Tabor. Nuanchan passed on June 28, 2026, with her husband by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Van Chanphongam and Sug Sasabai, her sister Sai and her brother Don, her mother and father-in-law – Evelyn and William Mockbee and her son Nicholas Brian Carver.
She is survived by her husband, Steve, her son Daniel, her brother Thui, her sister Yupin and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, from 5PM to 9 PM at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301
Remembrance will be held Thursday, July 16th, 2026, from 11AM to 12 PM at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. From 12 PM to 12:30 PM Abhidhamma Chanting Ceremony will be recited by the Thai Buddhist monks from Wat Promkunaram.
Her final resting place will be at the temple Wat Non Noi in Lum Lam Chi, Thailand along with the remains of her son, Nicholas Brian Carver.
