Olivia M. Avila, born June 3, 1937 in Glendale, AZ, passed away Feb. 25, 2013 in Youngtown, AZ at the age of 75. She is survived by husband, Ramiro Diaz; sons, Jessie (Bertha) Ocano, Ernest (Ernestina) Avila; daughters: Connie Ocano, Gloria Ocano, Evelyn Ocano, Virginia (Frank) Pantoja, Valerie (Elidio) Torres and Alice Diaz; adopted son, Donovan Jackson; 40 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and sisters: Genie, Lein, Rosa and Racheal. Olivia was preceded in death by sons, Henry and Arthur Ocano. Visitation will be held Fri., March 8, 2013, from 5 to 8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ. Funeral Mass will be on Sat., March 9, 2013, 10 am at Santa Teresita Catholic Church, 14016 N. Verbena St., El Mirage, AZ .
