She was born on March 15, 1950 in Los Angeles, California to the late Hipolito and Elena Herrera.
Pat was a world traveler. She loved everything about culture and history. From her trips to the Holy Land, Egypt to Jamaica and Greece she soaked up every moment. She enjoyed life and the ability to experience new things.
Pat was known as a Woman of Great Faith and Love for those that were broken or hurting. She had an undeniable gift of being steadfast and graceful in her walk of life and of her speech. For those who just had one encounter with her, you would never forgotten it. Pat was the epitome of beauty, honor and faithfulness that all of us aspire to be. She was stern when she needed to be, she extended grace when she knew someone needed it, and she would go to battle in prayer for anyone she held dear to her heart. Pat was a True Friend, a confidant, Her Loyalty was an example to lead your life in the ways of the Lord. She is greatly missed by all who knew her.
Pat is survived by four daughters Lois (Guillermo) Valles, Denise (Peter) Alcantar, Joy (Frank) Peralez & Abigail (Colleen) Hardy, six siblings Betty, Trisa, Gloria, Tilly, John & Lucinda, 12 grandchildren Richard (Rachel), Rose Anna (Adrian), Jacob (Yasleen), Daniel, Peter Jr., Matthew (Ana) Samuel, Gabrielle, Elijah, Joseph, Michael & Jacob and seven great grandchildren Silis, Sariah, Shawn, Anias, Micah, Elena & April.
In addition to her parents Pat was preceded in death by twin daughters Crystal and Celeste Estrada, who died at birth, and a sister Annie.
She has received her Crown of Life in Heaven and has taken a seat at His banquet table. Pat is in the Presence of Her Savior where she has always desired to be.
