Mom Patricia was born and raised in New Mexico where her father worked for the railroad for 41 years, and her mother was the town seamstress. Growing up in Tucumcari on Main Street she enjoyed everything about small town life. Riding horses, taking the train to nearby cities to shop for fabrics with her mother, riding to the ice cream factory to pick up her Dad’s favorites or cruising main street with her friends to go dance at the local diner. These were all favorite pastimes.
She met Dan and relocated to Ohio where he was raised, and later to Arizona in 1961 with their four children. Her second husband, Major Richard Langley, she married in 1980 after meeting up again at their 30th year high school reunion. It was a great trip to Tucumcari from Phoenix, with her mom in tow, and she spoke of all the fun of that trip very often.
Patricia is survived by her four children, Robert Daniel (Cheryl Wallace, deceased), Patsi Danise (Robert Kovalesky), Mary Diane (Tom Schemionek), and Donell Dane. She also enjoyed trying to keep track of her 12 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
She will be intered with her husband Richard at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in a private ceremony. Thank you to all who prayed with us and helped care for her in her last couple of months on this earth – today she dances in heaven in joyous reunions with Great Grandson Logan, our father Dan and her beloved Richard, as well as her teacher and dance partner Bill Daw. Love you mother.
Danny, Patsi, Mary and Don
