Marilyn, Gloria and I were saddened to hear of Paul's passing. We really enjoyed his sense of humor and outlook on life. He was a special guy and good friend. He will be missed.

This is a difficult message for me to write about my dear friend Paul! I had the privilege to work with Paul for the last fifteen years.  I came to think of him as the brother that I never had. He was always positive and up beat and had a calm personality. I can truly say I'm a better man from knowing Paul. I prayed for Paul daily while he was in the hospital for his recovery because I knew being the person he was there would be a big void in the life of his family,friends and ours. He will be deeply missed by all whose life was touched by this special man!

...like a good neighbor is there!
That's what Paul and Marilyn personify for me: good neighbors and good friends! That was our time together on Harmont Drive, us and our kids growing up together; that was also after we all moved;  and that will be forever, Marilyn, don't ever doubt it or forget it.  Never had neighbors like you either...

many years ago at USF&G.  Our deepest condolences on Paul's passing.
We had no idea you were still in the valley.  We left  in 1968 and came
back in 1985.  Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Ed and I were so sorry to read about Paul's passing. We can't even begin to imagine how his death has affected your family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Paul gave me a man to man when I was just 24.It was a great gift.Truly one of the greatest men our family has known.I will miss and rejoice in knowing him.

Soooo saddened by Pauls passing. My minds eye every time i think of Paul is a smile on his face and a nice firm handshake for me. Think of all of you a lot and miss and love you. God bless.

Marilyn, Tracey, Danny & Joey, I can't tell you how deeply the loss of Paul has affected me. I can't even imagine what you are going through. I had nothing but admiration for Paul. He did so many unselfish things for the good of his family and others. Including allowing me to remain a part of his family. For that I am forever grateful. Marilyn, I admire your strength and courage through this whole ordeal. You are awesome. I love you guys.

We have so many happy memories of time with Paul.  I met Paul when he was dating Marilyn and watched the family grow and change through the years. Every challenge met with a smile and he let everyone know everything was going to be OK. Being a grandparent was a special joy.

It was so easy to talk with Paul because he could find humor in anything. Paul was always a good sport, I never heard an angry word.

So many people have had a richer life for having Paul in it. He will be missed because he is truly loved and appreciated by everyone around him.  Prayers for the comfort of Marilyn, Tracey, Dan, Joe, the rest of the family and friends will not go unanswered.

Paul was  - and is - such a unique person.  I'll never forget the insights he shared with me during a ride-a-long.  Those insights stayed with me during my Law Enforcement career and always thought of Paul every time I pinned my badge on.  What was apparent to me was the love for his family and how he adored Marilyn, Tracey, Dan and Joe  Rest in peace my friend, you are officially EOW.

So many of us enjoyed our visits with Marilyn and Paul. Just to mention a few.
Grandma Beck  spent many a winter  when the children were young.
Ray played  gin rummy  games with Paul.  Not sure how many Ray won.
Ellen  cooked  things that were enjoyed by all.
The  Grand Canyon, Prescott trip,boat rides  with  me and George.
Rest in Peace Paul. I know was worth the fight.

How do you summarize such a wonderful person??? There are so many funny stories that have been told in regards to Paul resulting in tears of laughter in the eyes of those telling and hearing these stories. As we say goodbye to Paul we will all see many more tears. These tears will be tears of sadness, but I know after the service these stories of the past will change to tears of laughter once again. Knowing Paul will be watching over everyone grateful seeing these tears over his legend.

Where do you start, when it comes to trying to summarize how wonderful a person was??? Paul lives in many funny family stories and memories most likely with all of us.  Some of them have been shared widely at various gatherings to the point of tears in the eyes of the listeners.  Everyone will  miss experiencing new times with Paul, yet at the same time I know we will all have those tears in our eyes as we say good-bye to him from sadness and then have tears of laughter as we share those stories over and over again.  Leaving wonderful stories is what defines a wonderful person.
Our hearts are heavy and in our thoughts are Marilyn, Tracey and Mike – Hailey and Sara, Dan, Joe and all the rest of family during this time.  Hold close the memories that bring the tears of laughter and know Paul will be watching over everyone.

My Uncle Paul is one awesome person.  He was always compassionate, kind, and fun.  There will never be another like him, and he will never be forgotten.  He was a huge part of my life.  I will miss him so much.  I love Uncle Paul, Aunt Marilyn, Tracey & her family, Danny, and Joey.  He made us proud to be an Ackzen.
