

Paul Gerhardt Hildebrand Jr., age 83, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024. He was born on March 9, 1941, in El Paso, Texas, to Paul and Lorena Hildebrand, who preceded him in death.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy Hildebrand, daughter Melissa Eason, son Guy Hildebrand, and brother David Hildebrand. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law Joe Price and Ed Price, along with their children.
Paul was cherished by his grandchildren: Kyle, Sidni, Charleigh, Kayla, Jessica, and Justin, as well as his great-grandchildren Trace and Breanna.
Paul was renowned for his generosity, passion for knowledge and learning, his craftsmanship with tobacco pipes, and his love for motorcycles. He was a natural salesman and a successful businessman, leaving a lasting impact on the motorcycle community worldwide. He founded the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA), a community dedicated to changing stereotypes about motorcyclists, saving lives through promoting safety education, and enriching lives through this shared passion.
In addition to motorcycles, Paul enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, and nurturing a deep affinity for animals. Above all, he cherished his wife Dorothy.
A ‘closed-casket visitation’ for Paul will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, starting at 8:00 AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona. A funeral service will follow at 9:00 AM, with a graveside service to take place at 10:00 AM at Glendale Memorial Park Cemetery, 7844 North 61st Avenue, Glendale, Arizona.
Paul's legacy of entrepreneurship, passion for motorcycles, and dedication to safety and community will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
