Peggy A. Klopping, 88, Glendale passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026 after a brief illness. She was born in Abilene, Texas to Charles Franklin Dodson, a train engineer, and Myra Julia Crabtree, a homemaker.
Peggy was proceeded in death by her husband, Herman, her parents, one sister, three brothers, and one granddaughter.
Peggy is survived by two daughters and a son, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
As a young woman, she had worked as a hairdresser but later retired after
decades with Motorola. Post-retirement, she worked as a nanny. Peggy kept herself busy by volunteering with her church. She enjoyed reading and gospel music, her friends, and was active within her quilting group. Peggy was baptized in 2008 and found great comfort in the promise of her heavenly home.
Visitation will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, on May 2, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will take place at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, on May 2, 2026, at 12:00 pm, with interment at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale.
