Penny, this guest book is closing on the anniversary of your passing.  But I was given a hard copy of it as a gift which is very nice.  I just wanted to say one last goodby.  You were two minutes older than me but now I'm a whole year older than you.  I'll see you soon.....from Nickel.

Leigh Ann & Family:
I asked Penny to make a yellow afghan for my aunt who was always cold.  A few hours after receiving it, my aunt said, "When I fly up to Heaven, I'm riding on my sunshine yellow blanket."  I told that to Penny and that brought tears to her eyes.  She said she would have to make her own blanket to fly up to Heaven.  I have no doubt she did. She brought such joy to all of those lucky enough to come in contact with her.  God Bless.

Dear Family of Penny,

We send our love and prayers and sympathy to those of you who have lost your mother, sister, or friend. We know what it is like to have to say good-bye to a dear loved one but thank God there is hope of seeing them again in heaven. Gary went to school with Penny and Patty in Reelsville and then graduated with them at South Putnam.
