Phyllis Lee Adair

She was born in Bowdle, South Dakota on September 22, 1941 to the late John and Martha Schick.

Phyllis graduated from Kent Meridian High School in Kent, Washington. She met Francis in 1961 at a dance at the Spanish Castle when Francis asked her to dance. Phyllis married Francis Adair on her 21st birthday. They traveled throughout their marriage before settling in Arizona in 1990. They have shared over 58 years of marriage.

Phyllis was a flight attendant with America West later USAirways and lastly American Airlines taking her last flight on January 11, 2021 where she contracted Covid. Many of her friends at the airline have told stories of the most loving and hard working flight attendant with the greatest laugh and always a story.

Phyllis loved shopping and spoiling her friends and family She was a wonderful cook and loved to make large holiday meals to feed everyone. She loved decorating her home for all the different the holidays. She loved traveling throughout her life and enjoyed taking land tours in Europe and watching her son and grandchildren enjoy Disneyland and Disney World.

She is survived by her husband Francis, son George & daughter-in-law Catherine, two brothers Ray Schick & Jimmy Schick and sister Irene Deboard. Phyllis is also survived by her three grandchildren, Sarah, Ann Marie & George, Jr. they were her pride and joy.
