

Ralph Tobias Aragon took a ride into the pearly gates on June 11, 2022. Ralph was born on June 14, 1954 in Gallup, NM to Carlos Aragon and Josie Padilla. He lived in many places throughout New Mexico, California, Oregon and finally settling in Arizona.
Ralph worked in so many different jobs through the years, he was a jack of all trades. Automotive painter including cars used in the Dukes of Hazzard; window washer on the high rise buildings in Los Angeles, volunteer firefighter, miner in a uranium mine, carpet layer, various retail, substitute teacher, home and commercial painter, bathroom refinisher, parking lot striper, Uber & Lyft driver, to name a few. Ralph was creative and talented, he would draw various funny characters out of numbers or basic lines. He loved customizing cars especially in his younger days which grew to customizing motorcycles in his later days. He played guitar and many have fond memories of him singing and playing his favorite songs.
Ralph was married young to Sandra and they had 3 kids, Paul Matthew, Josie Angelina 9/13/75-11/2/75 and Summer Rose. The majority of the times they lived in Bluewater, NM and Mesa, AZ and he brought his mom and his sister Sarah on many of these moves.
Ralph was then married in Sturgis to Kim and they had 3 children together, Santana Dawn, Harley Rose, and Cameron Tobias. He enjoyed attending all their events as he was able.
Ralph loved his kids so much and was so proud of all of them, he was tough but taught many lessons too. He loved riding his motorcycles and being on the road. He was really proud of his custom Harley built from scratch that had 20 layers of pearl patterns.
Ralph is survived by his children, Paul (Phillipa) Aragon, Summer Schmidt, Santana Aragon, Harley Aragon and Cameron Aragon; grandchildren, Paul (Alliey) Aragon, Antonio Aragon, Daniel Aragon, Zoe Aragon, Sam (Sadie) Schmidt, Tori Schmidt, Zayne Schmidt and RJ Schmidt; great-grandchildren, Layne, Luca, and Luna Aragon and Ansley Schmidt, brother Carlos (Mary Lou) Aragon, sisters, Dorothy (Richard) Olivar and Sarah (Juan) Rocha. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many others. He is predeceased by his parents, daughter Josie Angelina Aragon and brother Gabriel Aragon.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 3, 2022 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301 with a reception to follow the service.
