Ricky - we all felt protected having you as FAMILY - I will miss your big hugs , your smile , your voice when you bust out a song. I admire the man you became and thank you for setting the bar high and being a role model not just for your family but everyone you came in contact with. It’s hard to say goodbye but even in your after life you have made this process easier because we know you are at peace and you understand this is Gods will. Now the world is under your protection, every time I Pray , I will pray to God and you - you have made me that much closer to him. I will deeply miss your wisdom, the stories you would tell using your own experiences really knew how to make sense of everything. Thank you for praying over us all. My Tia Gloria , Jessenia , Jason ..... my heart is forever with you. Nothing will ever fill the hole this event has left, but with Ricky’s Faith we will all be that much stronger, that’s much better. I will always celebrate your life Ricky. I love you like the Big Brother I never had. I love you so much, I miss you now and forever . Rest In Paradise. I love you sooooo much . I know you can hear me .... I know you are here.

There are no words sufficient to express my deep sorrow for the loss of our dear neighbor, Rico. From the first day of meeting him, he came across instantly as a kind and caring soul. After my own loss shortly after moving to this street, he was never intrusive but always made sure I knew he was there if I ever needed anything. He always spoke with kindness; always looked at the world with a smile. His loss is a huge void for many many people. My thoughts, love and prayers are with his family.

So many times, I've tried searching for the right words to say. So, I'll speak from my heart. I knew you for most of my life and we shared a ton of memories as kids and as family. And I realized Ricky... God placed you in my life for a special reason. I feel honored to have gotten to know an amazing man and a beautiful soul as you. Your love and kindness for others went above and beyond and for that I'll always be grateful. Nessy, Ethan and I will miss you terribly. You were a great uncle to my kids and godfather to my Ethan. And, above all, you lived with God in your heart! Watch over your family... But know that your memory and love will live in our hearts forever! We love you Ricky.... Rest in peace.

Primito! Te escribo en español porque desde Colombia toda tu familia llora tu partida. Te queremos, te recordaremos siempre como el hombre maravilloso que fuiste. Un ser de luz! Siempre con una sonrisa y una ternura inigualable. Mi Ricky te vamos a extrañar mucho!

Rick, you left us way too soon. I, as well as all of us are devastated. I hurt for your entire family. You are a great man, and son in law. You laid a solid foundation of love and faith in your kids. I will do everything I can to continue guiding them, looking out for them, as well as your wife, Veronica. We had some great conversations, and I hope I gave you some good advice along the way. Love you Bro. Rest in Eternal Peace.

I just wanted to say Rico was a great man. I only knew him for a short time. But he always took time out to come talk to Eddie and I at CR. I know that our daughters all loved him my 9yr old always told me i can't wait to be in Ricos class. He made a big impact on our daughter Julueanna. The friday before his passing she had found out that they had a special bond. They share the same birthday July 1st. She was so happy that she shared that day with him. She would always tell me he us my best friend. I just wanted to share with u what an impact he made on my family the little time we knew him. If you ever need anything please dont hesitate to call.
