Richard S. Duarte was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Richard also known as "DJ Ricky D" was a prolific DJ throughout the 80's and 90's who performed in many Phoenix night clubs - most notable of which being the Atomic Cafe. He is survived by his son, sisters, nieces and nephews and his spirit will live on in the music he so loved to play.
A Memorial Service will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale, Arizona 85301, on April 25, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
