Rita was born and lived her entire life in Arizona, where she married and raised 2 sons. She worked as a secretary for Farmers Insurance. After her retirement she was a caretaker for her mother for several years. She later moved into Vista Del Rio retirement center where, as a strong Christian, she enjoyed attending Sunday services and partaking in the many activities they provided. She made many friends there who will miss her dearly.
Rita is survived by her son Tony Mayberry, daughter-in-law Lisa Mayberry, sister Sharon Robinson and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and father George and Leona Scherer, husband Terry Mayberry, son Troy Mayberry and granddaughter Jadyn Mayberry.
A graveside service will be held on December 4, 2017 at 10:00am at Resthaven Park Cemetery 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
