March 3, 1932 – November 17, 2025
Obituary of Rose A. De Santis
IN THE CARE OF

Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary

Rose De Santis

Rose De Santis passed away under the precious care of her loving and devoted husband, Armando, her loving daughter Jane and family, and Avista Senior Living's Memory care community. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Rose was born to Louis and Anna Minutillo in Chicago, Illinois, on March 3, 1932. She was an avid sewer, cook, square dancer, volunteer, bowler, and traveler. She loved games, was always quick with a silly joke and beaming smile. She remained a model of strength, love, and courage in the toughest of times.

She placed great value on her family, Catholic faith, Italian heritage, strong work ethic, sense of fairness, and compassion, especially for the most vulnerable among us. Innumerable lives were touched by her generosity, friendship, and love!

Private services will be held by invite only.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
