Words sometime just cannot explain what the heart and soul feels about someone as special as you were to me.  I tried to tell your story at your service but I have almost 60 years of memories of you and Bill has almost 72 yeas of memories.  Not to mention all of the family stories that we have heard over the years.  It goes without saying that you will be missed ... my mentor is gone I must carry on without your guidance I know that I can because you taught me the strength of perservance. I love you Mom, forever...

Now you're sharing it up above.
You had many things to say,
All in a caring way.
You always saw good in everyone,
No matter what they've done.
You were always the one we could all lean on,
Even though it must have felt like a ton.
You were always the strength of the family.
Now we must let you rest calmly.
We say goodbye,
As tears roll down our eyes.
I know your place in heaven has a good view.
You're telling God,
I need to keep an eye on a few.
I know you will always be in our hearts and minds.
So Grandma,
I must go, but I'll never forget you're one of a kind.

Your Great grandson, Jacob and I still discuss the conversation we had with you on Thanksgiving a few years back. You are much missed but we know in a happier place! Rest in peace Ruth.
