

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ryan Anthony Hagans, a beloved son, devoted friend, and an inspiration to all who knew him. Ryan was born on September 26, 1988, and left this world on November 20, 2025, after courageously battling ALS. Ryan's life was a testament to strength, kindness, and unwavering faith, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ryan was not just a cherished individual; he was a beacon of hope and love, embodying the spirit of generosity and compassion. His strong Christian values guided him throughout his life, and he dedicated himself to uplifting others. He was actively involved with Compassion International and Children's International, where he sponsored three children from Honduras, the Philippines, and Africa. His commitment to making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate was a reflection of his generous heart and his belief in the power of love and compassion.
Professionally, Ryan spent over seven years with AAA, where he initially began as a dispatcher and later took on the role of real-time coordinator. His dedication to customer service continued with his position as a representative for Consumer Cellular until he unfortunately had to resign due to medical reasons. His colleagues and clients alike appreciated his hard work, patience, and kindness.
In addition to his professional achievements, Ryan’s love for animals was boundless. He had a compassionate spirit that extended to all creatures, and throughout his life, he cared for many animals, reflecting his nurturing nature and deep empathy. His home was always filled with love and the joy that comes from sharing life with animals.
Ryan was a gifted individual, recognized for his intellect and creativity during his time in the gifted student program through the 8th grade. This early recognition of his talents foreshadowed the impactful life he would lead, inspiring others with his insights and positivity.
Throughout his life, Ryan faced the challenges presented by ALS with remarkable grace and resilience. Despite the difficulties he encountered, he maintained a strong spirit and an infectious smile that inspired those around him. He fought with courage, never losing his sense of humor or hope, and taught us all the true meaning of strength.
Ryan's legacy lives on through the many hearts he touched. He was a beloved friend, a cherished family member, and a source of inspiration to all. His kindness, devotion, and unwavering faith will never be forgotten. As we remember Ryan, we celebrate a life lived fully, a soul that loved deeply, and a spirit that will continue to shine brightly in our lives.
Ryan Anthony Hagans is survived by his loving parents, Lisa and Jerry; sister, Scarlet; uncles, Tony and Wayne; one aunt, Karen; nine cousins and countless friends whose lives he transformed with his generous heart and unwavering faith. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to organizations supporting ALS research or to the charities Ryan held dear, ensuring that his spirit of giving continues to impact the world.

A committal service will be held at Glendale Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 7844 N 61st Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, United States. The service is scheduled for December 5, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
