Sandra King, age 81, passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2019. She loved Snoopy, going to Knott's Berry Farm and riding the Xcelerator, and eating, especially Kit-Kats. Sandra may have been small in stature but she was big in heart. She was feisty and determined, she was adventurous and raced cars with Mario Andretti and loved riding motorcycles. She will be greatly missed.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, John King, Sr. and her sons, John King, Jr., Gary King, and Donald King. She is survived by her daughters, Dianna Schmitt, Donna Kirsling, Gloria Herrera, and Angel King, as well as 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing being held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ, on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 9 AM followed by funeral service at 10 AM. Sandra will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
