Santos “Sandra” Perez, 73, of Tolleson, Arizona was born in Levelland, Texas on November 01, 1947 to the late Federico Montoya and Ignacia Luna. She was the last born of eight children. In her early teen years, her family uprooted from Texas and moved to Arizona to the Surprise area where she attended Dysart High School.
In 1980, she began working as a clerk for Circle K in Avondale, Arizona. This past June marked her 40th year anniversary with the company. She had a fulfilling career and leaves behind many friends she’s made over the years.
On Sandra’s days off you would find her under a blanket watching game shows or a baseball game, enjoying herself at the casino, playing the lottery and scratcher tickets, and cleaning house to the #1 Hits of the 50’s & 60’s as loud as she could. She was always the first one in the stands at her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren's sporting events. Sandra was a proud mother and grandmother who loved being there to witness her families achievements. She looked forward to the days of having her family over for a gatherings and celebrations. She will be truly missed!
She is survived by her husband of 47 years Zeferino Perez, her five children; Lorenzo Sedillo, Isabel Aguilar, Francisca Perez, Jacob Perez, Julie Hathaway, her sixteen grandchildren, as well as many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters Sara Garcia and Estefana Torres. She is preceded in death by her parents Federico Montoya and Ignacia Luna, her son Martin Sedillo, and five older siblings.
