I am so sorry for your loss. Sara was always so sweet and kind. I am praying for your family. 

I've known Sara since grade school and we remained friends throughout high school- she was incredibly kind and unassuming but also so funny and so smart. Sending love to her daughter, partner and family. She will be missed!

Sara was more than my cousin , she was my best friend.  She was my go to person and knew all my secrets and she provided me advice. We had so many conversations, we cried and laughed together. We became very close when she recruited me for a job at FA. She was kind of important person there and everyone loved her. I saw her everyday and are bond grew closer.  I remember when she be standing at her desk or hunched over I slap her or pinch her butt, she would get so embarrassed but I did it all the time to.  So many fond memories of us hanging out and drinking beers and gossiping in a good way.  She was my cousin , best friend, confidant and she was loyal.  She had the best smile that lit up a room , laughter of joy. She was my rainbow 🌈.  She was kind , funny, sarcastic, nonjudgmental and she loved hard.  Anytime we talked, texts or FaceTime we ended with I Love you’s and how I do miss that and forever will.  You will be forever missed and I’m heartbroken , you left us to soon.  I made a vow to you that I would stay close to Kelly and Emma and I promise you I will. I love you with every breath I take.  No goodbyes, just I’ll be seeing you again.

My deepest condolences to this wonderful family that I had the pleasure of knowing. I remember babysitting little Sara and her brothers Tommy and Danny it breaks my heart to know that she is gone. She's now in a better place .  RIP Sara you will be greatly missed.

I am so shocked, saddened, and heartbroken to hear of the passing of Sara. I don’t even remember when we met because I just always remember her being there. Such a kind soul that never said anything negative about anyone. Such a gifted athlete. Played softball and basketball with her for years and was always grateful when she was on my team.  My thought and prayers to her family, especially to her daughter, partner, parents and siblings. May God wrap his arms around you all during this trying time. Rest In Peace my friend.

I am so heartbroken to hear of Sara’s passing. We were good friends from elementary thru high school. My most vivid memories of her were our middle school conversations on the school bus. She was funny and athletic and kind and innocent.  My heart goes out to Sara’s loved ones...friends and family. Lifting you all in prayer.  

What a sad loss.  We have been out of touch for years but Sara was a wonderful, kind, funny, happy, friend.  Lots of memories with her in Montrose.  My deepest sympathy to all of her family, her partner, and her daughter.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Sara in Middle School, and we became fast friends because of how genuine and "down-to-earth" she was. Alphabetically, we were next to each other in PE in every grade. We both had difficult names to pronounce and the same initials, so there was a certain camaraderie in that. We had completely different interests and talents, but her kindness and understanding made her very easy to talk to and easy to hang out with. Her athletic ability should have intimidated me in PE, because I did not have that in common with her, but it never occurred to me to be embarrassed around her. That's how kind she was, and I'm sure that is in part because of the family she came from. She spoke well of them often. I do not remember as many people as I should from Middle School and High School, but I will never forget Sara!  My heart goes out to her parents, her partner and her daughter. A pure heart is rare, and she had one. 


I have known Sara since middle school. We met playing basketball. She was such a good point guard! I loved playing with her!  We were in classes together throughout school. I was a huge Chicago Bulls fan. Sara was very loyal to the Phoenix Suns. We would joke with each other about that rivalry.  I remember her mom and dad being at our basketball games. So supportive of her and all of us! I am glad I was able to connect with her on Facebook the past several years. My heart breaks for Sara’s family and friends. Please know you all have been on my mind so much since learning this news. I pray your good memories will help comfort you all during this really difficult time! 

I had the pleasure of working with Sara the past 7 years and she always was so pleasant to work with. She was so down to earth and always had a smile on her face. Her face would always glow when we talked about Emma and Kelly. You will be missed my friend.

Sara and I meet at GCU. We ended up being roommates.  There was never a dull moment when Sara was around.  She would always make me laugh!  Her down to earth spirit and kind heart are something I will always remember.  Though life made it tough to stay connected at times, so many memories have remained close to my heart. RIP sweet friend. 

Sara and I were roommates in college at GCU. Though we haven’t talked much since, I enjoyed seeing family pictures and her smile on FB. She was a vibrant, fun, caring friend and will be missed! God bless her family.

I am heartbroken. Although it's been too long since I've visited with Sara, there are years of memories of growing up with her. I remember when her family first moved to Montrose and Sara and I became fast friends. She was my competition in the classroom (who could finish the math worksheet first) and in basketball. I was lucky to be on her team and coached by her dad, Frank. She was my friend at school, at church, in sports and in our homes. Sara was a big part of my childhood. She was kind to everyone and always seemed to be smiling. All the memories are of us laughing with each other. My love and prayers to her partner, daughter and the whole Garcia family.

I just heard the news about Sara and my heart is breaking for her family. So many of my childhood memories include Sara with church and soccer and visits to her home. She was a great friend to me growing up in Montrose. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with her family and this unexpected loss. 

I am deeply saddened by the sudden loss of one of my best friends. Sara was my go to girl when I needed to talk. I was just telling her last week how much she means to me and that she was family to me. She was always there for me. She had a big heart and was one of the sweetest persons I have ever known. I miss her every minute of the day.
