Sheran Frye

Sheran K. Frye, 74, passed away peacefully at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday, August 26, 2022. She was born on October 09, 1947, in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Jack and Betty Keirn.

Sheran graduated from Cortez High School in 1965. She began working in the financial business soon after as a loan officer at a Credit Union. With hard work, she eventually became a branch manager and finished her career working in the mortgage business before retiring around 61 years of age.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had the most fun taking care of and spending time with her family and friends and making them laugh with her witty humor. She always made a point to tease her grandchildren and to be the most fun and doting grandmother. She enjoyed shopping for just about anything and cooking for her family.

Sheran is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Ralph Frye, her daughters, Wendi Young and Andrea Valdez, 5 grandchildren, and her brother Dan Reeves. Sheran was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Bonnie Kimmel, sister Deborah Frye and her stepson David Frye.

A visitation for Sheran will be held Friday, September 2, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home (6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301). A funeral service with burial will take place the following day, Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 1:00 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home.
