Stephen William Paananen (60) of Glendale, Arizona entered into Heaven on January 17, 2019 peacefully in his sleep. Stephen was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 16, 1958 to Rueben and Ily (Rantala) Paananen. When Stephen was a child the family moved to Arizona.

Stephen leaves behind his sister Vicki and brother-in-law Terry Maaske of Glendale; and two nieces Eve Hall and Dawn Yarosh. Stephen is preceded in Heaven by his parents.

Stephen will be missed.

Service for Stephen will be held on Saturday February 9, 2019 from 1-5 pm at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave. Glendale, Arizona 85301.
