I wanted to make sure That Patrice Higgins gets a very special thank you for all that you did for my dad sometimes with everything that happens in life we forget to tell people how much they were appreciated  Patrice took care of my father for many years and never complained or was bothered by it pops was a hand full at times and she told me what a blessing my dad was and she was right I knew without a dought when I couldn't be home with my dad that he was with someone who loved him and took as good of care of him as I did thank you P.C on behalf of all the Rodgers family pops was blessed to have you in his life and I couldn't have done it without you

I wish to send my condolences. 
Was a friend of Tracey, met Kim is Tracey and Kim' s step brother s girlfriend Donna met Florence a few times and had the pleasure of meeting Mr Rodgers a few time was even with Ben and his Dad John Rego when they did some construction work at Mr. Rodgers home. What a close knit family. May God Be With You. Mr Rodgers will be in my prayers.

I will never forget the impact Mr.Rodgers had on my life. 
I have known the family my whole life and have great memories with them, but it was when I helped care for him that he taught me and helped me understand what was the most important lesson in life. 
He told me that in his he traveled many places and saw many things, but that nothing was more important or more meaning full than “unconditional love”. He said without love we are sad, lonely, miserable and have no real quality of life. Also, to not have the ability to forgive someone when we all make mistakes is against what the “Good Lord” was trying to teach us with his only begotten son “Jesus”. So to love you must be able to do it without question, hesitation and know we are all imperfect. That is why unconditional Love is the most important thing in this life . He also said that if you don’t have the ability, which many do or fail to get that he feels “sorry” for that person and he prays for them each night. 

Pops had the biggest  most loving unconditional heart I know,  and I know without a doubt the he’s walking along  the right hand side of our Lord and Savor. God was given back one of his angles put here on Earth to help teach and  guide us back to our Father. 

This isn’t goodbye Pops, but I’ll see you soon. All within the Blink of an Eye.

I've known the Rodgers family for over 30 years. Pops has always made everyone feel like family. I am grateful to have been able to spend time with him in his final days. I love you were his last words to me. He is now in Heaven with his father,  until we meet again. Merry CHRISTMAS  Pops. All my love.
Also to Tracey, thank you for all the care and love you gave him in his last years.
