Steven TInsley was born March 3, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York. He leaves behind his Wife Beverly, Mother Edith, Father James Tinsley, and 5 siblings: Jean Prince (GA), Jimmy who preceded him in death, Betty Tinsley (FL), Karen Judge (NY), and Tyrone Tinsley (AZ). Steven served in the United States Army. Steven departed his life March 6, 2014, and he leaves to cherish fond memories: Daughter Simone Sims (NY); 5 grandchildren: Mark, Jaitee, Alice, Latoya and Jermaine who preceded him in death, and 9 great grandchildren Markia, Domonique, Ja'Niya, Makayla, Lamira, Neveah, Jermaine, Amire, and Tyler in New York City. Steve was joined in Holy Matrimony to Beverly. To this matrimony are 3 step children: Tommie (NC), Felicia and Slavon Williams (AZ) and 5 grandchildren: Tommyka, Tommara, Tye'shon, Elijah and Areanna. He leaves 4 brothers in law: Curtis Judge (NY), Ed and Jimmy Williams (IL) Jimmie Hill (AZ), 3 sisters in law: Sandra Williams and Denise Hill (AZ) and Bernice Williams (IL). He has 9 aunts, 2 uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Steven also leaves behind his four legged best friend DUB the dog!!
