Susan E. Bannon, age 77 of Glendale, AZ., passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in Sun City, Arizona. She was born on October 25, 1946 to the late Charles & Katherine Duffey in Harvey, Illinois. She attended school in Griffith, Indiana graduating class of 1964. On February 15, 1969 she married Richard Bannon in Griffith, Indiana.
Susan Bannon spent her early married life raising her two wonderful kids. She worked at Copperwood Elementary school where she was able to be with her kids. As the kids grew she moved on to work as an IT Supervisor for the City of Glendale library system for 20 plus years. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending quality time with her family.
Susan Bannon is survived by her loving spouse of 54 years, Richard Bannon; and her two children Nancy Klein (Joseph), and Garett Bannon (Angela): her six grandchildren Hannah Klein, Abagail Sitcler (Chad), Trevor Klein, Emma Klein, Liam Bannon, and Madison Bannon; and her one Great Grandchild Theodore Klein.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday January 20, 2024 at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary on 7924 N. 59th Ave. Glendale, Arizona.
