Sylvia Mary Aguirre, 64, of Phoenix, Arizona entered into Heaven on June 22, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona with her family near. Sylvia was born in Navasota, Texas on November 20, 1954 to Paula Gomez and Alejandro R. Cantu, the oldest of 5. Sylvia and her family relocated to Phoenix when Sylvia was only 3 years to be nearer family. Sylvia attended Washington High School. After school she landed a position as a Psyc Tech with Arizona State Hospital where she served for many years. Later Sylvia decided to do something else and earned a second career at Solid Waste Management as a “Permits Tech,” which is the technical term for “She did everything!” Sylvia had her commercial drivers’ license and often drove the water and dump trucks. She also worked in accounting and knew pretty much all the positions within the company. Sylvia was a caring and nurturing person. She was always willing to help and held her hand out to whoever needed it. Sylvia was a Dallas Cowboys fan, so although Sylvia wore a lot of red clothing, we are sure her favorite color was blue. Sylvia had 2 beautiful daughters Paula Valenzuela and Diana Gambo. Sylvia’s heart belonged to her family, specifically her grandchildren, great grandchildren and brothers.
Sylvia leaves behind her girls Paula Valenzuela and Diana Gamboa; grandchildren Yolanda, Sonja, Deborah, Richard and Ennadina; great grandchildren Kiannah, Elijah, Kiarah, Nevaeh, Serenity, Charles, Faith, Armando, Emilio, Marybel and Vivian; brothers John, David and Alex; cousin Victor, tia Lucia and tio Joe; and many other close family and friends.
