Sylvia Jean Eubank, age 85 of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on November 27, 2021. She was born on March 25, 1936 in Onslow County, North Carolina, one of 11 children born to the late Joe and Molcie Taylor. Sylvia was proceeded in death by her husband, of 41 years, Walter Daniel Eubank Sr.
She was a faithful woman who loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren tremendously. Sylvia was an amazing cook, had a quirky sense of humor, and loved sweets of all kinds. Anyone who knew mom loved her.
Sylvia is survived by her 4 children Walter Daniel Eubank Jr (Darci) of Frederick, Maryland, Karen Betenbough (Damon) of Wittman, Arizona, Henry Leaven Eubank (Becky) of Gravette, Arkansas and Lonnie Eubank (Wendy) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee: 9 wonderful grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her 4 sisters, Lula Belle, Sudie, Edna & Opal and 6 brothers J.I, Woodrow, Alvin, O.B, Wilbert & Raymond.
Visitation will be from 2PM to 6PM, on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 9AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
