Tanya Mikele Parra passed away on March 9, 2023, from injuries suffered in a car accident on November 22, 2022. The middle child, she was born on April 10, 1977, to the late Gilbert and RoseAnn Parra. Tanya was a kind-hearted, loving, and giving person. She enjoyed her time with family and friends. She also loved her alone time either playing her games or watching a good drama or comedy. She was loved and adored by many. At times, Tanya could be the life of a party or gathering. She had an infectious smile and profound laughter that made up her personality and character. Tanya will be missed.
She is survived by her two siblings Gilbert Parra & Yvonne Parra, sister-in-law Ana Parra, two beautiful nieces Jayme “Gabby” Parra and Rihanna Parra-Tineo, a handsome nephew Logan Parra-Tineo, her only living grandmother Olive Cervantez, her wonderful and loving godmother Martha Cervantez, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her beloved little doggy Ethel.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 8-9 AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Funeral services will begin at 9 AM and burial will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
