Unique Money Dunlap, 22, was born on May 12, 2004, and passed away on July 3, 2026. Unique was deeply cherished and dearly loved, a devoted mother, sister, and daughter whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and steady strength to the people who knew her. Even in a life far too short, she left behind the kind of love that doesn’t fade—and the kind of humor that still sneaks in at the most unexpected moments, just to remind everyone she’s near.
Unique graduated from Tolleson Union High School and carried a dream she’d held since she was 9 years old: opening her own Hair Braiding Business. That early determination spoke to the resilience she lived with—quietly persistent, always moving forward, always creating a future in her mind long before it arrived.
A proud mother to her two-year-old daughter, Unity, Unique poured her heart into motherhood with devotion and tenderness. She was also a wonderful sister and remained very close with her siblings: three brothers, Devion, Royal, and Stacey Jr., and one sister, Navaeh. She also had two cousin/brothers, Trevon and Tabari. Unique also had her "found family" in John "Uncle Jay," Jalynn, and Johnathan. Unique was adopted by her aunt Tamika; her biological mother was Tamika’s sister, Kenji. From the time she was in kindergarten, she was also helped raised by Deffer, her maternal grandmother. Unique was very much loved by her family, and she returned that love in countless kind-hearted ways—through loyalty, laughter, and simply showing up with her whole self.
Unique’s creativity was unmistakable. She had a passion for art, nails, makeup, and cosmetology, and she turned that passion into a successful art business, Uniquely Dun Art. She made healing crystal jewelry and press-on nails—pieces that carried her style, her care, and her gift for making beauty feel personal. And for those lucky enough to hear it, Unique also had a beautiful singing voice—one that could lift a room and soften a hard day.
