She was born on July 17, 1949 in Saigon, Vietnam to the late Dong Van Doan & Ngo Thi Truong.
Ut migrated to the US after the fall of Saigon, Vietnam in 1975. She worked in the wax investment casting industry for 20+ years before retiring. Later in life, she loved spending time with her family, friends and especially loved caring for children.
She is survived by her companion for over 21 years David Wilcox, daughter Lili Nguyen, son Jason Nguyen, eldest brother Xa Van Doan, eldest sister Xa Thi Truong, elder sister Mui Thi Truong, and younger brother Het Van Doan.
Family and friends are invited to West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 8AM-12noon. Burial will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
