V. Walter Chavez passed away on May 17, 2018. He was born April 24, 1945. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Dominga Chavez, and sister Stella Moreno.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Vicky "Buck" Chavez, Children: Jimmy, Lydia, Jessica and Anna, Grandchildren: Stephanie, Andy, Tanner, Javier, Airic, Marissa and Alex and Great Grandson: Easton, Brother: Tony Chavez (Laura), Sisters: Alice Rodriguez (Ted) Armida Lopez, Lydia Rodriguez (Abe) and Olivia Flores (Bob).

Walter was a no non-sense kind of man and lived his life on his terms. If you were his friend, you were his friend for life.

His family was the most important thing in his life and he loved them unconditionally. He will be greatly missed.
