Vernon "Vic" Carrol Smith, 93, of Peoria, Arizona passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025. He was born on February 13, 1932 in Mohnton, Pennsylvania and was the only child of Edward Smith and Dorothy Weinhold.
Vic served honorably in the United States Military for 20 years and 1 day. Deploying on tours for both the Korean war as a Marine and Vietnam war as a member of the Air Force.
An avid traveler, he loved to spend time in Mexico. He enjoyed the beaches, people and atmosphere of Rocky Pointe and Puerto Penasco. Vic was a loving father and in his later years enjoyed spending his time with loved ones getting to know his great grandkids more. His greatest achievements in life were serving his country and family well.
Vic is survived by his daughter Deborah Needham and son David D. Smith. He is also survived by his 9 grandkids, 32 great grandkids, 5 great-great grandkids. He is preceded in death by his son Duane Edward Smith.
