Vicki Sue Morrison, our warrior, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2019 and is now in her happy place. Vicki was a Leukemia survivor but lost her battle with Graft vs. Host Disease in her final fight.
She was born in Phoenix on September 7, 1977 to James and Candace Morrison. Vicki was raised by her father James in Phoenix and she graduated from Moon Valley High School in 1995. It was in high school where Vicki’s love of sports began. She was a decorated high school athlete and went on to college for sports medicine.
In her professional career Vicki was a leader and mentor of people. She worked for Taco Bell for over 20 years and had a true passion for the restaurant business. Working in multiple roles within the company Vicki continued to work as an Area Coach, supporting and leading her team until the last few days she was with us. As the warrior she was, Vicki continued to work and support her team throughout her fight with Leukemia.
One of Vicki’s happiest moments was the birth of her son Kaiden in 2006. She was very proud of the young man he is growing into and was excited for the future he is going to have. Vicki enjoyed spending time with Kaiden, especially when he was playing football with the Desert Rats Football Team.
Vicki married the love of her life Debbie on March 19, 2016 in a beach ceremony on the Island of Kauai. Her love of family always brought everyone together and on this day in Hawaii was no different.
