

Virginia Joe Tvedte, age 85, of Glendale Arizona, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014, at Hospice of the Valley in Glendale. She was born June 7, 1929, in Neosho, Missouri, to Clarence and Maude Briggs.
Virginia attended Noel High School in Noel Missouri. She was united in marriage to Robert Hans Tvedte on March 11, 1956. Robert passed away May 10, 1996.
Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family; reading; going out to eat; and selling Avon for over 30 years. She loved rooting for the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks from her recliner. When she was of better health, she always looked forward to road trips taken to Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois with nieces Wanda Baugh, Dorothy Jean Held, and her sister Edna Sharp.
Virginia is survived by her daughters; Marjorie Rasper and her husband Brian, Linda Schneider, and her husband Alan; four grandsons, Bradley Schneider, Devon Canfield, Brandon Schneider, and Rob Tvedte, and his wife Tracy; two great grandchildren Brock Tvedte and Josie Tvedte; one sister, many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and special friends from Avon, Sun City Mauna Court, Eastern Star, Jobs Daughters, and especially her favorite eating out buddies Evelyn Schneider, Terri Cline, and Linda Fleszar. She is preceded in death by her parents; four siblings; her husband, Robert; son Craig and his wife Sevilla.
In lieu of flowers if you prefer, memorials may be given in Virginia’s name to Hospice of the Valley or Arizona Kidney Foundation.
