Wanda attended Peoria High School and was later married to her first husband, Mike Villanueva from 1973 to 1976. She was also married to her second husband, Charlls Wentz (deceased), from 1987 to 2022.
Wanda had a passion for reading fictional crime books, as well as fostering kittens, gardening, crossword puzzles, quilting, crocheting, and needlepoint. She was also an avid sports fan, and loved to watch the Suns basketball games, Diamondback baseball games, and Cardinals football games.
Wanda's memory lives on through her brother Ernie Pugh, along with his wife Vicky Pugh. She leaves behind two cherished children, Matthew Wentz and Scott Villanueva, as well as her dear niece Kimberly Coltrin and her husband Tony Coltrin. Wanda's love extended to her stepchildren, Jason Wentz, Joanna Anderson, and Leisa Bell. As a doting grandmother, Wanda showered affection on her two grandchildren, Riley Villanueva and Vera Villanueva, and her step-grandchildren, Casey Anderson, Holden Anderson, Trevor Meyer, Bridgette Meyer, Carlie Bell, Jameyson Wentz, and Symaryha Wentz. Wanda was also a proud step-great-grandmother to Hudson Meyer and a loving great-aunt to Taylor Coltrin and Emily Coltrin.
Funeral services for Wanda will be held on March 18th at 10am at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale, AZ, with Ken Sheets officiating. Wanda will be remembered by all who knew her for her kind heart, love of family and animals, and passion for her hobbies and sports teams.
