William "Billy" Greene
February 27, 1929 – October 27, 2024
IN THE CARE OF
William “Billy” Greene passed away on October 27, 2024 with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 27, 1929 to the late Linwood and Margaret Green.
Billy served with the United States Navy just after the end of WWII. He attended Ohio State University and went on to work for the government as a financial planner retiring after over 30 years of service.
On October 28, 1992 Billy married Cleola Carter. They were to celebrate 32 years of marriage this year.
Billy enjoyed gardening and spending time fishing.
Billy is survived his loving wife Cleola, two sons Darryl Greene & Billy Greene, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and his nephew JP Morgan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings Verna Mae & Linwood Green.
Keeping with Billy’s wishes there will be no services.
