It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Avelina Burgos Diaz, who peacefully left this world on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Born on January 25, 1947, in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines, Avelina brought light and love into the lives of all who knew her. She was the cherished daughter of Victor and Angeles Burgos.
Avelina will be fondly remembered for her nurturing spirit, which she expressed in her love of gardening and caring for others. She was a free soul with a passion for adventure, often traveling to create unforgettable memories. Avelina embraced life with joy and purpose, treasuring the moments she spent surrounded by her family and friends. Her radiant smile and contagious laugh were gifts she shared with the world, leaving a legacy of love, warmth, and beauty.
Avelina’s memory will live on in the hearts of her beloved husband, Marmelo Abaja; her son Chauncey Espino and his wife, Kathleen; and her cherished grandchildren, CJ, Justin, Janine, Portia, Kaden, and Nicholas. She was, and always will be, the heart of her family.
