It is heartbreaking to hear of someone going home to us that are still here but there is joy in knowing that this person has went home to The Lord cause of her faith and love for Our Father in heaven. Christina your new endeavors are beautiful and amazing may your sweet soul rest peacefully in peace.

As the day gets closer it’s setting in… I really lost my better half😞 …. I been so numb to reality that I was hoping this was just a bad nightmare and you would call me and we would go out with the kids…  I hate life without you and I miss you so much already….. to think this is my reality and I won’t ever get to spend time with you again. I promise you I’ll be there for the kids boo… I love you so much 😞😔 rest in paradise my beautiful angel  …. Never good bye but till we meet again…..

We took the kids to the beach even though it was cold we had a really great time. Even managed to track down some elotes and chow down.

I saw me in you like I was looking at a younger version of myself. Wishing there was someone like me trying desperately to reach out. 

So I did what I wished someone had done for me, Show you unconditional, sisterly love, and understanding. 

Taking your broken and decaying pieces, kissing them and putting them back. 

We watered each other's seeds with positivity. Encouraging, shining, and blooming learning how to unpack, that.. 

Through jokes and hugs and tears we faced our fears. You first than me honestly. Your bravery Paving the way giving me strength everyday.  

But don't stop now Christine! Your two kids and my one Still need you. Together We can teach them how to pull through life too. 

22 years and counting Khris-stink, Don't leave me! 22 years and counting dugly, I need thee!! 

So until I can say it to your face again, I love you more! I win!!!!

Valentine's Day and weekend 2021 We spent it Loving on each other and our babies.  

Saddened to read of the loss of Christine Laxelle Jones, please accept my sincerest condolences.  Losing a loved one is painful and especially losing a loved one under difficult circumstances. I hope your family is able to not only mourn together but to comfort each other.  God promises to heal the brokenhearted. I hope your family will become stronger in order to endure the days ahead. 

My beautiful friend.  You, your family and mine go way back! I am blessed to have known you growing up. We were lucky to have kids within the same age groups and watch them grow together.  Your battle is over, you are free.  I will never forget your B2K, Chingy & Lil’ Bow Wow phase or your silliness as you pretended to be in a music video as you were walking around Strathern Court Apartments singing.  You were a rare gem from your walk to your personality!  Your beautiful children are so loved and we “ your village” your family/ friends will do our best to keep the conversation up with them in remembering how special their Momma was. 
    You made the last 26 years wonderful.  Easter’s will never be the same.  We will miss packing your plate with food and cracking confetti eggs on you.  Our apartment building has brought so many of us close together.  I will miss your voice! I will miss our talks about our teens.  We love you Girl! You will always be remembered and your babies will always know they are loved. 
To momma Cherise,  I love you and I will continue to check on you.  You & Sylvester brought a beautiful girl into our world. I hope you read all these posts and reflect on how much Christine was loved! She is now our Angel.

We greeted each other “my love” everytime we talked. When I moved to Nebraska you made sure to stay in contact with me. Everytime I came to the Valley it was a must to stop by! Although we were miles away we remained close. Thank you for always being a great friend and the best friend any person could have. This picture was 7/23/2022 at my nieces quinceañera. Christines personality was always the life of the party for sure, and will always be. We use to collect all our pocket change as preteens just to go across the street from our apts and take photos to hand out to our friends cause we thought we were that cool 😎 I love you with all my heart and I am beyond grateful for having you as my childhood friend and sister 💞🫶🏻

We literally went everywhere together, we were always at  B2K, Bow Wow concerts & Allstar games to watch all the celebrities play basketball 🏀 

My beautiful friend you are greatly missed and appreciated for all the good times for all the times you were there for me I wish I could have been with you more in these last months. And even though I would say our friendship wasn’t as long as I would have liked in the time God allowed for us you showed me what a good friend and mother you were. I love you always 💜

Christine will truly be missed.  We love her so much and our hearts are hurting.  We will always have the memories. 

My last day living at Strathern Court Apartments.  This community meant so much to us both, so many memories shared in this community with lifetime of friends.  

Taco nights were full of great memories.  Our love for one another is real.
