Eduardo Daniel Rodriguez

December 21, 1932 – April 6, 2026

Eduardo Daniel Rodriguez, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2026. He was born on December 21, 1932, in Havana, Cuba and was a longtime resident of Downey, California.

Eduardo will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was defined by sacrifice, strength, and love for his family.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Martha Rodriguez and Barbara Lluis. He also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren, Erika Rubio-Hoyt, David Santos Jr., Luis Lluis Jr., and Natalie Serrano. Eduardo was especially blessed to meet his first great-grandson, Luis Lluis III, a moment that brought him immense joy.

Services

A visitation and Rosary will be held at Glendale Funeral Home, located at 511 South Central Avenue in Glendale, CA.

Visitation: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Rosary: 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

A Catholic Mass will be held at Incarnation Catholic Church, 1001 North Glendale Boulevard, Glendale, CA 91202:

• Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

A graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1712 South Glendale Avenue, Glendale, CA 91205:

• Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.

Eduardo kindly requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to City of Hope and/or the Alzheimer’s Association.
