I was introduced to Paul by a friend who worked with him at the Holiday Inn in Peoria, Illinois. We immediately hit if off. It was Paul’s charm and personality that drew me to him. I eventually moved to California where Paul and I lived together for 3 years. We were both very young. I moved back to Illinois to attend college while Paul stayed to pursue his dream as a guitarist. We got back in touch on Facebook a few years ago and had some nice chats. When I told Paul about my sons love for music and his favorite bands, Paul gave some recommendations for other bands he might like. Before Paul’s passing my brother in law and I were reminiscing about a Christmas we all spent together in an old deserted farm house. He told me that Paul was a cool dude lol. And he was. He left a good impression on so many people. He will be missed 

I played in a band called the Sugar Daddys with Paulie prior to the band Gasoline.  Paulie and I had No family out in Ventura Ca. So most Major Holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas  we would go eat at Burger King or some other fast food joint! Through the years we always laughed about that many times as I always stayed with Paulie at his home in Hollywood every time I would be driving through! I miss him Dearly! RIP Paulie! Zombo Loves You Man!

Pauly,   my words could never truly express the love  💘 I HAVE FOR YOU,  Beloved not only by myself but by my 4 daughters as well.  There were different times in our life that you lived with us and you always  felt like family.  It was Just a few months ago that  you were giving me words of comfort  over the passing of my niece Arin June Allen.   The words you spoke to me men't so much and helped me through one of the hardest times  of my life.     Loosing  you so suddenly and quickly after my niece was shocking, sad, unbelievable,  and a 
Peace of me died with you.   Who will give me the  comforting words for losing you my friend, brother and  family??    I know you and  Arin are in heaven talking and loving each other's company with all of our beloved family and friends whom have passed before us.  My thoughts are with you always my brother. I've known Paul for many years and this breaks my heart💔  I am very sad by this, rest easy my friend, play guitar for everyone up there and keep doing what you do!!  You will be missed!!  ❣❣❣❣every time I've seen you Paul you've had a smile on your face , so keep smiling that smile, its beautiful-wish I told that!!

I will always remember 1983 when all my brothers friends decided to follow Billy out to port hueneme ca. I had a whole new family of little brothers and sisters from Peoria. I will miss Paul terribly. Gone too soon!

I'm truly at a loss. Paul was a great friend.  I would not be playing guitar if it wasn't for him. He was my teacher and mentor. I started the Peoria invasion of southern California in 83 and Paul knew that's where he belonged for his true passion for Rock n Roll. He led the life that he thirsted for. I'm  going to miss our yearly jam sessions. He's picking guitar in Heaven now. I'm sure God appreciates his talents. Till we meet again  my beloved friend.

So very sad to learn of Paul's passing.  What a great guy!  I first met him in Sunday school when we were very young.  So very many years later, he was one of the people I enjoyed most at the past several Richwoods class reunions.    He was sincere and kind and still had a great sense of humor.  He will be missed.
