On November 27, 2022, Rea Santos Baldoza, passed away peacefully at a young age of 45, after a battle from a complicated auto-immune disease. She was a loving daughter to Papa Boy and Mamita, a selfless sister to Rhowie and Mary Rose, a devoted wife to Miguel, and most of all, a dedicated mother to Clarence.
Rea was born on March 21, 1977, in Panginay, Balagtas, Bulacan. She considered the Philippines home and felt strongly connected to her roots. She attended La Consolacion School from elementary to high school. She went on to study Hotel and Restaurant Management at Regina Carmeli College.
In 2011, she met Miguel Baldoza and got married in 2012. They gave birth to their adorable, happy, and incredibly active son, Clarence Miguel Baldoza in February 2014. This allowed Rea to accomplish her purpose in life – to love, be loved, and have a family of her own. Family was important to her.
Rea had an incredible love for Clarence. She was passionate about teaching her son to follow his path and chase his dreams. It was important for Rea that Clarence was healthy and happy. She breathed and lived to be a mother. Her ailment made her physically weak but her mother's heart was strong.
Rea would light up any room she entered and made an impact on so many people. She was a joyful presence with her beautiful face, creative fashion choices, and bubbly personality. She loved her friends and family and filled her home with warmth and kindness.
There will be a viewing on December 9, 2022, from 10 am until 4 pm at Glendale Funeral Home, 511 S. Central Avenue, Glendale California 91204. Her body will be will laid to rest in the Philippines, details to follow.
Anyone who wishes to honor Rea is requested to contribute to Clarence’s educational fund. In lieu of flowers, please post memories, messages, photos, and/or videos of Rea on this website. We want to memorialize Rea’s life so Clarence can learn all about who his mother impacted. Your comments will be invaluable to Clarence as he grows and wants to learn more about his amazing mother.
